Liverpool, Mon 29 Sep: Challenging Authoritarianism

Authoritarianism is on the rise globally. If you’ll be in or near Liverpool on Monday, please join us to be part of understanding these challenges and building a movement to resist:

🕝 Monday 29 September, 6.30pm–8pm
📍 Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BT

Registration not required, conference pass not required

At this meeting we will explore perspectives on what challenging authoritarianism means and what we can do to translate energy seen in protests across the UK into building a sustainable pro-democracy, pro-freedom and anti-far right movement, rooted in global solidarity.

This is a Labour conference fringe meeting – but note that you do NOT need to have a Labour conference pass, or in fact anything to do with the Labour Party at all, in order to attend. (We want to take our message to Labour conference delegates, but organising a fringe meeting should definitely not be taken as an endorsement of Labour!)

We hope to see you there, or at another meeting elsewhere very soon!
